Boots will single handedly determine your feel with the bike, stability and comfort. Typically boots are made for protection so they are not always well ventilated so make sure you choose as per your favourite riding season. We strongly advise to resist ankle high boots and go in for upper shin or knee high irrespective of where you are riding. This protects the shin to some degree and ankle high boots just don’t cut it. A simple boot cover worn over the boot helps immensely in wet and cold conditions. Lastly, something that we learnt from another biker is to carry a cheap hair dryer when on long rides. Dry your boots if and always wear dry socks and boots.
